How passionate is the Twilight fanbase? More than 1,400 Twilight fans have camped out in L.A. to give themselves the best spot possible to watch Monday night's premiere red carpet event outside of Nokia Theater. One person told USA Today they even paid $1,200 to fly 10,000 miles out of Auckland, New Zealand, just for the event, and the actual author of the Twilight books has made the trip down and been impressed with the crowd.
