If green products are priorities in updating your kitchen, you'll find an array of offerings. Countertops and backsplashes  of recycled glass, aluminum or paper are just a start. Bamboo is being used in new ways. There's even an under-the-counter composter to turn food scraps into rich soil. Here's a look at gadgets and finishes for a greener space.<br>

Bamboo is moving from floors to case work.  The hardy renewable grass is being used more often in cabinetry, such as this wine unit,  right, made of Teragren panels. The company will introduce a custom line of doors next spring that can be used on existing kitchen cabinets. Prices for raw materials vary from $2 a square foot for veneers to $8 a square foot for panels. <a href="http://www.teragren.com">www.teragren.com</a>.<br>
