GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — At least one feisty, red-winged blackbird is taking aim at pedestrians in Grand Rapids.
Video broadcast by WZZM-TV shows a bird perched on a tree, sign and pole outside the Grand Rapids Public Museum this week and swooping down on people's heads.
The bird appears to take a little nip at their heads, and then flies away.
Kristi Klomp of Grand Rapids was walking past the museum when the bird swooped down on the bandanna-covered head a woman with her. Klomp says the bird scared her a bit.
Those shown being targeted by the bird appear to escape without injury.
