Party is synonymous with prom, now protection might be at one Bed-Stuy High School.

The principal at Bed-Stuy Prep announced that he would be distributing condoms to students walking into prom.

Later Friday though, the principal went on record saying he was no longer going to give condoms to students because he did not want to upset the Department of Education.

Students at Bed-Stuy said they liked the idea.

"You`re teenagers you get crazy at prom you get twisted you could have unprotected sex and you might get pregnant you never know."
