Our Kansas weather picture is about to change just in time for the weekend as a stalled front that's been hanging our region around most of this week slowly sinks into Oklahoma Friday.

Friday afternoon look for a few spotty showers, light winds and highs in the low to mid 70s.

Late Friday night into early Saturday morning areas of drizzle and fog will be possible across the south as lows dip into the mid-50s and lower 60s statewide.

Drier, warmer weather and more sunshine are expected Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Look for afternoon highs to climb back into the upper-70s to around 80 degrees this weekend with southerly winds less than 20 mph.
