Update: Reno County Undersheriff Sheldon Stewart says they've arrested a Hutchinson man for a string burglaries over the past week.
Stewart says investigators went to a home after getting a tip from the South Hutch Police Department. After talking with the person at the home and obtaining a search warrant, investigators found items consistent with property reported missing in recent burglaries in the Prairie Dunes/Linksland Drive area.

The Reno County Sheriff's Office is asking the residents of the Prairie Dunes neighborhood to keep on the look out after of a string of burglaries take place.
In the neighborhood located outside of Hutchinson, fifteen burglaries happened since July 4th. Investigators say the thieves are getting into unlocked cars and garages, stealing whatever they can get their hands on including wallets, cash, and in one case, a gun.
All of the crimes happened close to one another, and there's no signs of forced entry.
The Reno County Sheriff's Office is urging residents to make sure their garage doors are locked and valuables are removed from their cars.
