Officers were following up on previously suspected gang activity only to learn of another drive-by.
The woman, in her late 30s, said on Saturday night she was at her home in North Wichita. Around 10 p.m., her friend ran inside the house yelling for everyone to "get down."
The friend said that three cars pulled up in front of the house and shot at the house four times. He recognized two people in the cars.
The woman said she didn't report the shooting because no one was hurt.
