(WICHITA, Kan.)—
Wichita firefighters battle a house fire in the 1000 blk. of S. Wichita Sunday night.
It broke out right around 7:50 Sunday night in the 1000 block of South Wichita. Everyone that was in the house was able to make it out safely.
Crews say when they arrived they found heavy flames coming from the house. They were able to quickly discover that the fire was coming from the attic area. Most of the damage is in the back of the home. The cause is still under investigation.
