A teenager was rushed to a Wichita hospital after a rollover accident southeast of Mulvane.
It happened near K-15 and Greenwich Rd. around 5:15 p.m. Saturday. The Sumner County Sheriff's office said a 19-year-old man was driving south on K-15, when he tried to pass in the right lane. He lost control of his vehicle, went into the ditch and hit a tree line.
The impact threw the teenager from the car. He was taken to Wesley Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.
Investigators are looking into whether speed played a factor in the crash.
