At halftime, the commentators said Collin Klein isn't flashy but with what he's done this year there's no way you can keep him out of the Heisman race. Today's game against Iowa State was no different for the senior quarterback. He didn't wow you with his speed or his technique but Klein simply got things done for the Wildcats.
Klein finished the day with 111 yards on 24 carries with 3 touchdowns in Kansas State's 27 to 21 win over Iowa State. That puts Klein just 2 rushing touchdowns short of Darren Sproles' record of 45.
After failing to convert on third down, Iowa State had one final drive to win the game. However, they were pinned inside their own 5 yard line after a beautiful punt by Ryan Doerr and could not move the ball. An incomplete pass by Barnett with 1:28 left in the game sealed the win for the Wildcats.Copyright © 2013, KWCH-TV
