Police on scene of fatal crash near Second and Broadway (January 8, 2013) |
(WICHITA, Kan.)—
Update: Wichita police have identified the man struck and killed by a car in downtown Wichita last night.
Police say 80-year-old Thomas Wimberly was walking across the street at Second and Broadway when he was struck by a 20-year-old woman's car.
The woman says she never saw the man.
Police tell us Wimberly was homeless and had possible hearing and vision loss.
Police don't expect to file charges.
