WICHITA, Kan.—
Police say an overnight stabbing near Pine & Broadway was drug related.
The incident happened around 10:30 Friday night.
Officers at the scene tell Eyewitness News the suspect parked his car near several people, got out, then stabbed a man in his 20's in his chest. The suspect then got back in his black 1989 Cadillac and drove off.
Investigators say they found the Caddilac on the 1100 block of N. Topeka with evidence inside.
The victim was transported to Via Christi - St. Francis in critical condition.
Officers say the victim was involved in a disturbance with another individual prior to the stabbing.
The incident is still under investigation, and police are still looking for the suspects.
