(WICHITA, Kan.)—
Two Wichita area high schoolers are awarded $20,000 Fran Jabara Scholarships.
Katie Deutsch is from East High's IB Program and Everett Lacy is from Maize South.
Both say they're excited to be awarded such a prestigious scholarship. To compete, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 24, a GPA of 3.5 or better and be a declared entrepreneurship major.
The scholarship is named after the former dean of Wichita State's College of Business Administration.
