Butler county deputies arrest a burglary suspect after tracking him down in Andover.
Lehman was caught Thursday afternoon after the owner of The Barn Guys found him hiding out in his shop.
The suspect ran but police were able to make an arrest.
Billy Page says he couldn't believe his eyes when he came to work at The Barn Guys Thursday morning.
"I got close enough to see in the window, I seen the suspect dart out of the offices and run through the center part of the shop and out back," says Page.
Officers say the accused burglar is the same man sheriff deputies and dogs were looking for Wednesday night. Deputies say he stole a car in Wichita, then some gas before breaking into The Barn Guys. Officers searched the construction business Wednesday night and thought Lehman was gone, which is why Page says he was surprised to see him inside the next morning.
"It was a shock but I think your adrenaline gets going, I'm a young guy and I was just...the danger factor didn't even dawn on me, didn't even think about it at first," says Page.
Lehman got away, but not for long.
Sheriff deputies caught Lehman near Yorktown road, after he was chased off The Barn Guys property.
Page says he's relieved all the excitement is over, so that he and his family can get back to business.
"A break-ins always bad but the repercussions of those things could be even worse," he says.
Lehman has been booked into the Butler county jail on charges of burglary, theft, possession of meth and trespassing.
