(WICHITA, Kan.)—
Wichita police were called out to a home in the 400 block of south Clifton Friday night, looking for potential burglars. Instead of finding thieves, they found a small marijuana grow operation in the basement.
Police got a warrant to conduct a more extensive search. They seized distribution materials, plants, and a weapon.
A 40-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.
Officers say they are still looking for a man in his late teens.
