A concert in Old Town ends and Five people are shot. It happened early Saturday morning near 2nd and Mosley.
Police say one person died from his injuries.
About 2,000 people were gathered outside of a club when police and witnesses say some people started fighting. That’s when someone pulled a gun and started shooting.
"There was one guy down on the ground," said one witness who only wished to be identified as Samantha. She and her friends were leaving a different club at the time. "He was getting punched and then all of a sudden, they surrounded him and they were all kicking him, just kicking him relentlessly."
Wichita police chased a man armed with a gun into a nearby parking garage and exchanged gun fire with him.
911 dispatchers tell us four people were shot. One has died, another was critically hurt and two others had minor injuries. KFDI reports a fifth person arrived at the hospital by a private vehicle with gun shot wounds as well.
The shooting is under investigation. More details aren’t expected to be released until Monday morning’s police briefing.
