Look for a mix of sun and clouds Monday as another weak storm system begins to move out of the Rockies and into our area overnight.

Temperatures will stay mild to start our new work and school week ending up in the mid-80s once again with southerly winds returning to Kansas by afternoon.

Scattered storms will be possible for western Kansas Monday night and into early Tuesday morning but the activity will be isolated and most will miss out on much needed moisture.

Expect a slow but steady warming trend to take us through midweek with temperatures pushing 90 by Wednesday before another chance of showers and storms moves in late Wednesday night then off and on, through Saturday.
