After seeing record warmth with highs in the 90s last week, expect temperatures to feel more like May in the days ahead.
A cold front will continue to push south and east, touching off scattered storms for southcentral and eastern Kansas through the night. Lows will drop into the low 40s northwest to mid 50s in the Wichita area. The chance for severe storms will be southeast of the Kansas Turnpike. Hail and some brief gusty winds will be possible.
Gusty north winds will be around on Monday with much cooler temperatures statewide. Highs will be near 70 with mostly cloudy skies west/partly cloudy central and east.
Expect light winds and some sunshine for Tuesday with highs once again near 70.
