Quiet and milder weather will greet Kansans as the new work and school week begins on Monday. Temperatures will be near 50 for much of the state, but cooler in areas that had snow Friday and Saturday.
Expect lows overnight to be in the teens and low 20s with light winds.
Clouds will increase on Monday ahead of a weak storm system coming out of the Rockies. South winds will be under 20 mph and temperatures are expected to be just above normal for much of the state.
Light snow and flurries will develop late Monday night and light snow is expected on Tuesday for much of the state. This is not a big storm, but a light dusting of snow is possilble in localized areas and should not be enough to create travel concerns Tuesday afternoon or evening. Colder temperatures will be here for a few days with highs mainly in the 30s for the middle of the week.
