Monday morning's cool temps, clear skies and light winds are making way for a couple of summer-like days this afternoon and again Tuesday. Look for sunshine and a few high clouds both days with afternoon highs in the mid-80s.
Wednesday a strong storm system will pass by Kansas to our north dragging a cold front through our region. The front will bring some passing sprinkles or rain showers, gusty northerly winds and colder temperatures. Afternoon highs Wednesday will fall into 60s and 70s then tumble into the even cooler 50s and 60s Thursday and Friday.
Warmer temperatures are expected to return this weekend.
