The new downtown Wichita YMCA doesn't open until December 10, but the celebration is already underway.
The new $23 million Robert D. Love Downtown YMCA is next to the existing building. The current facility will be torn down to make room for a parking lot. The old YMCA closes December 5.
The Greater Wichita YMCA will hold several events in anticipation of the December opening. One event is an online scavenger hunt (click here to enter). Winners will get free memberships to the YMCA.
