A fatal car accident occurred around 2:00AM on Irving Street.
The man was in his early 20's and was driving at high speeds.
Police say that the man drifted and struck a semi trailer flatbed head-on and was killed instantly.
There was one passenger in the car treated for minor injuries.
Police say high speed and alcohol were a factor in the fatal accident.
