The Wichita Public School District says negotiations between the district and United Teachers of Wichita (UTW) have been scheduled to resume with a federal mediator on July 23, at the request of the mediator.

The session will not be open to the public.

The two sides have been at impasse.

Teachers have not gotten a raise for four years.

The district says information will be shared as it becomes available following the July 23 meeting.

Until that time there will be no additional comments about the status of negotiations.
