CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- District officials are investigating reports that a teacher showed students a porn film on the last day of classes last year.

The incident was reported earlier this fall Castle Park High School.

Sweetwater Union High School District, Superintendent Ed Brand said there was "no merit" to the charges, and the teacher in question, whose identity has not been revealed, remains employed at the school, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.

The newspaper reports that Brand also recently dismissed "a potentially alleged sex crime against a juvenile," that took place in the school cafeteria as "horseplay that went too far."

The district is expected to wrap up their investigation in the next few weeks.
