Anthony Bourdain's "The Layover: Chicago" premieres Monday

When Anthony Bourdain was in town in July to film the Chicago episode of his show “The Layover,” he asked Tribune reporter Mark Caro (whose book, “The Foie Gras Wars,” he blurbed) to join him for dinner at the Publican and then drinks at the Hideout. You can hear them chat about local food, politics and culture and see which Chicago highlights Bourdain is spotlighting the season premiere of “The Layover,” which airs Monday at 8 p.m. on the Travel Channel.
