Official Rules
No purchase necessary. One valid entry per contestant.
You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Finalist will be selected by Eric Fisher Academy based on video or essay submission with the winner chosen by Eric Fisher Academy staff. Winners will be required to submit all regular admissions requirements. One (1) grand prize winner will receive a full ride scholarship, valued at $18000 to Eric Fisher Academy with the remaining four (4) finalists receiving a $1000 to Eric Fisher Academy. One (1) $500 scholarship will be given to the People’s Choice winner. The People’s Choice winner will be based on the video who receives the most votes.
Finalists will be notified by email and the winner announced on The Weekend Crew show April 13, 2013. If Sunflower Broadcasting and Eric Fisher Academy cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Grand Prize winner must enroll in the April 22, 2013 cosmetology class or the November 25, 2013 cosmetology class and maintain satisfactory academic progress until the completion of the cosmetology program.
Finalists receiving a $1000 scholarship or the People’s Choice $500 scholarship must enroll in the April 22, 2013 cosmetology class or the November 25, 2013 cosmetology class and complete the first academic year which is hours 1 – 943 of the total 1500 hour program in satisfactory academic progress.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
Sunflower Broadcasting reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Employees of Sunflower Broadcasting, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Employees of Eric Fisher Academy, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to Sunflower Broadcasting the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
Sunflower Broadcasting reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
By entering this contest you agree that Eric Fisher may contact you regarding enrollment opportunities and other offers or promotions.
Eric Fisher Academy reserves the right to revoke the scholarships due to violations of student policy. Not valid for currently enrolled students. Other restrictions may apply.
