Phillips County Fair- July 29th – August 1st

The Phillips County Fair will begin on Friday, July 29th will a full day of events starting at 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Events in this year’s fair schedule include a bake sale, animals shows, several different show exhibits, and more. The fair will conclude on Monday, August 1st with a Red Robin event at 9:00 a.m. The day will end with an announcement of show winners and a livestock auction.

Friday, July 29th
7:00 AM - Building Opens - Animals arrive
7:00 AM - Livestock may enter the barns
8:00 AM - Market Wheat Show Entry
8:00 AM - Enter all 4-H exhibits except Visual Arts.
8:00 AM - Enter Scout exhibits and all Open Class exhibits.
8:00 AM - Consultation judging of Food & Photography exhibits. (Judging will be done according to the designated schedule.)
10:00 AM – Judging of Market Wheat Show
10:00 AM - Bake Food Sale
10:00 AM - Cloverbud Consultation
12:00 PM – Enter and begin consultation judging of 4-H Visual Arts and Fiber Arts (Judging will be done according to the designated schedule.)
12:00 PM - Consultation judging of Scout classes.
12:00 PM - Judging of all Booths, Banners, Crops, Horticulture, and Forestry.
12:00 PM - Lifeskills, Entomology, & Photography Judging Contest in Show Arena
12:00 – 2:00 P.M. - Lifeskills, Entomology & Photography Judging Contest in Show Arena
1:00 PM - Judging of all Electric, Ag Mechanic, Forestry, Posters, Notebooks, & Open Class Entries.
1:30 PM - Judging of all Woodworking
2:00 PM - Judging of Open Class Hobby exhibits
3:00 PM - Livestock can be checked in (except poultry)
3:00 PM - Judging of all Entomology, Geology, Wildlife, Knitting, Crochet, & Rockets
4:30 PM - Dog Obedience/Showmanship/Agility Shows
6:00 PM - Poultry Show, followed by Rabbit and Hand Pets
7:00 PM - Enter Rabbits & Poultry; Blood test for poultry at this time.

Saturday, July 30th
7:00 AM - Building Opens
8:00 AM – Check & Weigh in of Market Animals
9:00 AM - Super Cow Calf Check In
9:00 AM - 4-H / FFA Horse Show
11:00 AM - Super Cow Calf Judging
3:00 PM - Super Cow Calf Release of Entries
7:00 PM - Swine Show

Sunday, July 31st
7:00 AM – Building Opens
9:00 AM – Goat Show
11:00 AM - Sheep Show
2:00 PM – Cat Show
4:00 PM - Bucket Calf Show followed by Returning Bucket Calf
5:00 PM - Dairy Cattle Show
5:30 PM – Beef Show
10:00 PM- Building Closes

Monday, August 1st
7:00 AM - Building Opens
9:00 AM - Round Robin
11:00 AM - Crop & Horticulture Judging
1:00 PM - Livestock Judging
5:00 PM - Announce winners of Judging Contests
5:30 PM - Livestock Sale Meal
6:30 PM - Livestock Auction
10:00 PM - Building Closes
