5 Cannes Film Festival premieres to watch
Tribune movie critic Michael Phillips picks five premieres from this year's Cannes Film Festival to watch out for in the upcoming year:

'Amour' directed by Michael Haneke
The best-received (and best, probably) of the conventional narrative Cannes 2012 competition films, Austrian native Haneke's masterly probing of a decades-long marriage tested by the ravages of illness stars Jean-Louis Trintignant and Emmanuelle Riva. Sony Pictures Classics will distribute in the U.S.; the company did the same with Haneke's superb "Cache" and "The White Ribbon." In French.
