The Kansas CW | Halstead Schools Celebrating Assessment Achievements

Students and staff celebrate their award.

USD 440 is celebrating their recent "Standard of Excellence" achievement awarded by the state in reading/language arts and mathematics.
Halstead School officials say that in all 14 levels tested in those areas, the prestigious award was achieved.
Grades three through eight and high schools students were all tested. Bentley Primary School, Halstead Middle and High Schools each earned the honor.
The achievements will be celebrated Tuesday afternoon at Halstead High School. It will include speeches from local dignitaries and recognition of faculty and staff.
