A dog is shot and two Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents fall through a floor during a drug bust in southeast Kansas. It happened Oct. 29th at a home in rural Mulberry in Crawford County.
KBI agents were serving a search warrant related to manufacturing methamphetamine. Officials say, while securing the property, an agent was attacked by a vicious dog. The agent fired one shot, killing the dog.
KBI officials also say two agents also fell through the rotted floor of the home. One agent was hurt and was taken to a Pittsburg, KS, hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
No one was arrested at the home. The KBI says criminal charges are pending and the case is still under investigation.
