The Butler County Sheriff's Office says first responders were sent to the report of a mobile home explosion Sunday night.  When they arrived, they found a man with burns over most of his body.  He was outside the home on Mills Drive.

Neighbors tell authorities they used a garden hose to extinguish the flames on the man's body.

He went to the hospital in critical condition with second and third degree burns.

The Sheriff tells Eyewitness News the fire is currently under investigation, the Towanda Volunteer Fire Department tells our newsroom the preliminary investigation shows the cause may have been a gas leak.
