NORTON, Kan. (AP) - A southwest Nebraska man has been sentenced to nearly six years in a Kansas prison for indecent acts with two young girls.
Gary Hartwell of McCook was sentenced last week to five years and eight months in prison on two counts of felony aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.
Hartwell pleaded guilty to those two charges in a plea agreement.
Norton County Assistant County Attorney Karen Griffiths says Norton had been charged with four counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a minor.
The charges relate to incidents with two different girls between 2006 and last October. Hartwell has been in custody since December.
