Bradly Specht pled no contest to one count of unlawful sexual relations Friday morning. He's set for sentencing the afternoon of July 6. He could face up to a year probation.

Specht is a former Hutchinson High School boys' basketball coach accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female student.

Specht resigned his position at the school in February and was charged early the next month.

The Kansas Attorney General's Office is handling the case. The Reno County attorney referred the case to the Topeka office, citing a possible conflict of interest.

One of Specht's relatives once worked at the Hutchinson office.
